DESCRIPTION:Overview\nFollowing the success of previous events\, the Cross-Sector Battery Systems Innovation Network is holding its 3rd in-person industry showcase on the 18th June 2026 in Leicester. This Showcase will link the battery supply chain with a broad set of end-user markets. \nThe Cross-Sector Battery Systems Innovation Network is a community that was launched in 2020 with a mission: \n‘To create an open and collaborative cross-sectoral community for researchers and innovators in battery manufacturing (including next generation batteries)\, the related supply chain\, and end-users.’ \nWith the community having now reached over 5\,000 members\, this event will provide a unique opportunity to meet new partners and collaborators across the battery ecosystem. Highlight opportunities and insights across sectors and technology areas\, with discussions last year covering safety\, supply chains\, circular economy and next generation battery technologies. \n\n\n\n\nWhy should you attend?\nThis event aims to bring together representatives of the whole battery supply chain together with a diverse range of cross-sector markets (aerospace\, defence\, maritime\, rail and automotive). \nBy attending this event you will get an opportunity to: \n\nGet insights on battery technologies and electrification strategies in these diverse markets through a series of industry-led panel discussions\nDevelop an understanding about funding opportunities across different programmes\nExplore how the UK Innovation ecosystem can accelerate battery technology innovation and adoption\nDiscuss projects and products from various battery segments in the exhibition\nNetwork with innovators in the battery value chain as well as end-users and adopters\nJoin the Cross-Sector Battery Systems Landscape Map and discover the 300+ organisations across the UK involved in various stages of the battery supply chain\n\nWe strongly encourage attendance from the following areas: \n\nWorking within the battery supply chain\nThose working in an end-use sector moving towards electrification\nAnyone that is keen to grow their network and partner up with another UK battery organisation\nInvestors looking for innovative battery businesses\nGovernment & Public Sector stakeholders\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAre you interested in exhibiting?\nDo you have a prototype\, proof-of-concept\, product or project you would like to exhibit at the showcase?
