SUMMARY:Science & Technology Solutions Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite campus organisations to exhibit at the Nu-Tech Science & Technology Solutions Exhibition\, taking place at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) (supported by Diamond Light Source) on Wednesday 10 September 2025. \nThis exclusive in-house event is organised independently by Nu-Tech Exhibitions + Events and provide a unique opportunity for suppliers to showcase their products and services directly to scientists\, engineers\, technologists\, and buyers. \nThis event is being supported by the UK Industrial Liaison Office\, which connects UK industry with the global Big Science marketplace\, supplying major research projects like CERN’s Large Hadron Collider\, the Square Kilometre Array Observatory\, and the European Spallation Source. Big Science facilities invest billions in procurement\, creating unique opportunities for UK businesses to supply everything from everyday goods and services to groundbreaking technologies. STFC manages the UK’s subscription to eight major international Big Science facilities. \nThis event will offer a highly cost-effective and time-efficient way to connect with decision-makers and end-users actively seeking new technologies and solutions. \n\nContact the team here\n\nWhy exhibit? \n\nHosted inside STFC research hub\, where new technologies are in demand.\nDirect access to key end-users\, procurement teams\, and technical specialists\,\nMeet with STFC’s UK Industrial Liaison Office to explore procurement and collaboration opportunities both at home and overseas.\nEngage with representatives from Diamond Light Source and other major international research programmes.\n\nKey supply chain areas of interest for this event are: \n\nSpace\, astrophysics and remote sensing technologies\nLasers\, optics\, photonics and high-power laser systems\nHigh-precision engineering\, metrology and additive manufacturing\nSuperconducting materials\, cryogenics and vacuum systems\nPower management\, grid integration and sustainable energy solutions\n\nBooking Information: \nExhibition space starts from £235 per sqm and forms part of an all-inclusive package which contains two delegates\, power\, furniture\, refreshments\, buffet lunch\, pre-event publicity and post-event e-catalogue listing. \nSpace are limited – early booking is recommended. \nFor more details or to reserve your space\, please contact the event organisers Nu-Tech Exhibitions + Events: \n\nPhone: 01946 695554\nEmail: sales@nu-techassoc.co.uk\nWebsite: www.exhibitions4industry.com

SUMMARY:Fusion for Medical Radionuclides Event!
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite experts from academia\, public and private fusion organisations\, public health organisations\, pharma industry\, as well as stakeholders from government bodies to the Fusion for Medical Radionuclides Event\, which will take place on the Wednesday 24th September our Culham Campus! \nThe UK’s capacity to produce medical radionuclides is currently limited\, which can make treatments in nuclear medicine at-risk. This is further influenced by growing markets and existing international reactors that are aging and undergoing frequent periods of maintenance. A number of projects are underway across the UK to develop methods of domestic production. One such method may be through the emergence and growth of fusion technology; where applications beyond typical power production facilities can be explored. For example\, the high energy neutrons available from deuterium-tritium fusion may open up certain  production routes of novel medical radionuclides that may currently be unavailable with existing routes. \nThe UKAEA Innovation team is organising a one-day event to discuss and explore how fusion technology could help address the current and future demands for medical radionuclides\, in the UK and beyond\, with talks from experts and plenty of time for networking. \nThe event presents an opportunity to explore how fusion technology could enable innovation in global healthcare\, in critical areas such as targeted cancer therapy\, precise diagnostics and more! \nInterested in showcasing your work? We have space for up to 10 posters during the Networking & Poster Session. Poster presenters are expected to bring their own posters and be available to engage with attendees and stakeholders during the session. You can book your space for a posters at the registration form. \n  \n\n\nRegistration \nTo register for the event\, please complete the registration form by clicking on the “Book a Ticket” tab on the left-hand side of the page. \nIf you’re not already logged into Indico (the web-based event management system hosting this site)\, you’ll be automatically redirected to the login or account creation page before you can proceed. \n  \nWho should register? \nThis event welcomes professionals and stakeholders from a wide range of sectors\, including: academia; public and private fusion research organisations; public health institutions; pharmaceutical companies and government bodies. \nIf you’re interested in exploring how fusion technology can contribute to meeting the growing demand for medical radionuclides\, both now and in the future\, this event is for you. \nDue to a limited number of tickets\, we may need to restrict the number of participants per organisation. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis\, in accordance with the eligibility criteria above. \n  \nPlease note before registering \nBy booking a ticket\, you are registering your interest in attending the event. The Innovation team will review all registrations in line with the criteria outlined above\, and you will receive an email shortly confirming whether or not your place has been secured. \nWe kindly ask that you only register if you are confident you can attend. This helps us manage resources responsibly and ensure that spaces are used effectively. \n\n
