At Oxford Innovation our mission is to help small companies to flourish and grow. We do everything we can to accommodate companies’ growth with the flexible nature of our premises, but eventually the time comes when they outgrow our services and need to move to bigger premises. It’s always sad to say goodbye, however, in the case of our tenants, Greencore Construction, it’s also a true celebration of success.
Today marks 20 years since Oxford Innovation first opened the doors of Culham Innovation Centre, which has supported over 200 businesses on their journey of growth including Reaction Engines, OXIS Energy, Tokamak Energy and Kaspersky.
We are delighted to announce that we are Umbrella members of Oxfordshire Bioscience Network. With 400-plus Member companies, located across the Golden Triangle and beyond to Manchester, Nottingham, the Midlands, South Coast and Scotland, it is the UK bioscience membership group with the largest national reach.
Our Innovation Director, Wendy offers businesses 1-to-1 support and coaching to set goals and overcome challenges, like fundraising, finding new markets, and scaling-up. Networked with many stakeholders and partners across Oxfordshire, she can also make connections – whether it’s with other businesses, clients or linking to opportunities.
Many volume housebuilders and developers are carrying on exactly as before in a situation described as ‘crazy’, by Oxfordshire-based Greencore Construction, whose zero-carbon, zero-energy houses easily exceed 2050 targets and is based at Culham Innovation Centre.
